The BAP is contingent upon the opening of the restaurant no later than January 30, 2009. The City would rebate 40% of the incremental sales tax revenues derived from the imposition of the 3.0% general sales tax for the first i~our years of operation and be Gaped at $64,800. In the event Beef `O' Brady's Family Sports Pub terminates their business within the first 5 years, Br;asel LLC would pay back the total amount of sales tax rebated by the City. Mr. Richard Womack, representing Beef `O'Brady's Family Sports Pub, gave a brief history of the business, a familly sports restaurant franchise, which started in Florida. He noted there are 120 Beef O'Brady's Family Sports Pub in Florida alone. The restaurant is very involved in youth sports. The proposal for the Louisville site will cover the corner area of the Village Square Shopping Center, including the area occupied by Curves. This restaurant will be the first Beef `O'Brady's Family Sports Pub in Colorado and will serve as a training facility for future Beef `O'Brady's Family Sports Pub restaurants. COUNCIL COMMENT Mayor Pro Tem Marsella asked if tree incentive is given for this restaurant only. Ms. Hogan confirmed the sales tax incentive is for this Beef `O'Brady's Family Sports Pub only.
