City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />August 19, 2008 <br />Page 18 of 18 <br />City Clerk Nancy Varra read Louisville Municipal Code Section 2.90.050 -Public <br />Statement, which governs topics that may be discussed in an executive session. <br />City Attorney Light stated the authority for executive sessions is granted through <br />Louisville Code of Ethics, Section 5-2 (b) and CRS 24-6-402 (4) (f) -Authorized <br />Topics. <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved the City Council convene an executive session to <br />discuss the Annual Performance Review of the City Manager, and requested the <br />City Attorney attend the executive session, seconded by Councilor Dalton. All in <br />favor. Councilors went into executive session at 10:50 p.m. <br />Councilors returned to the business meeting at 11:25 p.m. <br />REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS CONTINUED <br />REPORT BY CITY ATTORNEY FROM EXECUTIVE <br />City Attorney Light reported in executive session City Council discussed the City <br />Manager's review and gave direction to the City Attorney. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />City Attorney Light reported on the Hamon litigation matter and noted they are <br />currently involved in settlement discussions. He will forward a litigation report to <br />Council, which will also provide an update on the North Metro litigation matter. <br />None. <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />ADJOURN <br />MOTION: Councilor Dalton moved for adjournment, seconded by Councilor <br />Yarnekl The meeting was adjourned at 11:31 p. <br />~. <br />.-~. <br />'~ <br />
