~cEGULAR MEETING LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL JUNE 5, 1984 <br />The City Council of the City of Louisville met in regular session in the <br />Council Chambers, 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado. Mayor Meier <br />called the meeting to order at 7:3:2 P.M.M.D.T. There being present <br />at the call of the roll the following persons: <br />COUNCILMEMBERS: Rick Luce, Susan Morris, Betty Johnson, <br />John Leary and Michael Cussen <br />ALSO PRESENT: Leon A. 1Nurl, City Administrator <br />Curt Rautenstraus, City Attorney <br />William :Hesson, City Treasurer <br />John Lanterman, Chief Planner <br />Karl Kasch, Director of Public Works <br />Sharon Asti-Caranci, Director of Financial Services <br />August Hioco, Director of Community Services <br />Cleo Mudrock, City Clerk <br />ABSENT: John Rupp, Director of Community Development <br />Rod Lees:man, Director of Public Safety <br />APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT AGENDA Councilman Luce requested that Item 9F <br />Items 9F, 11F, and 11 I Re- Pliska - Water Tap Request, and 11 F - <br />moved From The Consent Agenda South Boulder Road - Pine Street Pedestrian <br /> Crossing Signals - Authorize for Bids <br /> be removed from the Consent Agenda. <br /> Councilwoman Morris requested that Item <br /> I - Joe Colacci - Parking Lots - Authorize <br /> Signing of Leases be removed from the Con- <br /> sent Agenda. <br /> Councilwoman Morris moved, Councilman Luce <br /> seconded that the Consent Agenda be approved <br /> a.s amended. All in favor. Motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS N[rs. Sohn wished to reaffirm her neighbors <br />Ardyth Sohn, 860 W. Oak Ct. and her concern about the safe crossing <br /> of South Boulder Road by residents in the <br /> F[illsborough West, Mesa Point, and Contin- <br /> E;ntal View subdivisions. While they were <br /> all pleased to hear about plans to extend <br /> k~ike paths in the area, which will help <br /> :several taxpayers stay fit; they are more <br /> concerned that children stay unhurt and <br /> alive. They suggest that Council include <br /> plans for bike access to the new paths <br /> as they are being developed so that children <br /> living on both sides of South Boulder Road <br /> can safely cross on foot or by bike. <br />
