1/3/84
Page -2-
puts your. VCR out of order and you have to
go through another $40 to $50, another con-
verter - 2 conveters on your TV set to your
VCR and it is a whole lot of hassle. Would
like: to know about that.
Bill Bradley Staged that he had 8 questions and stated
2335 McKinley Ave. he thought Louisville Communications Corp.
has lost its advantage with Louisville through
Public Relations. There still hasn't been
any advertising - press or radio - for their
new package or equipment. You have to go
down to the office and talk to a salesman
per:~onally; there has been no advertising.
He Yxad a personal complaint - channel 19
still has noise. No. 4 - costs too much
and too many reruns. No. 5 - when will you
include UHF 31. in your programming? No. 6
he :Liked the Times listings - do you plan
and equal? No. 7 - did Scripps/Howard buy
the general instrument equipment as a set -
are you sure you got the best deal? Why
are you distributing them separately? He
thought Scripps/Howard errored in the pur-
chase by not buying a system with a sound
control that is state of the art and available.
Would they elaborate on what improvements
they are planning? Is there a pay-back period?
Will the rates return to their previous level
and why not? When will Scripps/Howard provide
a computer connection capability? These
were his questions.
Jay Sargent Mr. Sargent stated that he did get prices
234 Vulcan St. on the Rainbow packages and he was wonder-
ing why there was a difference for the same
service in Lafayette as there is in Louis-
ville. For the Rainbow basic service it is
$3.50 more than in Lafayette; for the
Rainbow Plus it is $8.50 more; and for the
Rainbow Gold it is $14.50 more for the same
sex-vice. They also have on here - better
reception on all your favorite Denver stations.
He didn't believe that.
Alphonse Damelia Stated that some of the things he wanted to
820 Jefferson aslt had already been aksed. He didn't under-
stand when you pay for the full package deal
why some people get channel 19 and some don't.
Wanted to know why if the rates go up and
channel 14 has been eliminated. The TV repair
people say that the set has no problem, yet
