9/4/84 Page -3- <br />Councilwoman Morris Commented as the City's appointee to the <br /> CML Policy Committee he would be represent- <br /> ing Council on certain issues of legisla- <br /> tion that are coming up and would be voting <br /> on them, she inquired of Councilman Fauson <br /> if he would be contacting Council prior to <br /> his voting on these issues? <br /> Councilman Fauson stated he would have an <br /> opportunity to apprise council of the various <br /> issues that would come before the Policy <br /> Committee and assured her that he would <br /> definitely represent council by sharing <br /> their recommendations and concerns when <br /> voting. <br />Councilman Leary Commented he felt the way that had to work <br /> is for Councilman Fauson to come back to <br /> Council with the issues as there were only <br /> 2 meetings a year. He stated that we get <br /> the information on all the Bills that are <br /> going to be considered at the legislature <br /> ahead of this meeting, and if there are any <br /> Bills anyone feels strongly about he felt <br /> it was their job to bring them to Council <br /> so that Councilman Fauson can be informed <br /> of the Council's position. <br />Vote on the Motion All in favor. He de- <br /> picted on the wall map the City's parks trail <br /> and open space proposed plan as relates to <br /> the land acquisition. <br />
