9/4/84 Page -2-
~UBLIC COMMENTS
Larry Allen, 1954 Sunnyside Mr. Allen wished to request of Council the
Circle, Louisville status report that is going to be issued
Water Crisis Report to the to the citizens regarding what happened that
Citizens caused the water crisis. He was wondering
if there would be an actual date set by
Council as to when this report would be out.
Mayor Meier stated there had been consider-
able discussion about this item at the last
meeting and it was his understanding that
as soon as Mr. Rupp and his staff could get
the information together it would be sent
out. the the general public. He would not
favor setting a definite date on when this
would occur as staff was being burdened
presently with other priorities, i.e. budget,
alternatives for financing the Howard Berry
plant, etc.
Acting City Administrator Rupp advised that
we are making progress on the report and he
should know by the end of the week when we
will have a date for the information to be
sent out. He felt with the assistance of
the City Attorney's office and the Consultants
he should be able to establish this date
soon.
APPOINTMENT TO CML POLICY Councilmembers had a copy of a letter from
COMMITTEE Mike Salardino. CML President on this item.
Mr. Rupp stated that the Colorado Municipal
League, by September 14th, would like to have
the name of an appointee from our City to
serve on the Policy Committee.
Councilman Fauson Expressed his desire to be appointed to this
committee as he had served on the Colorado
Municipal League's Statuatory Revisions Com-
mittee - was Chairman of this Committee in
1982-83. In reply to Councilman Luce's
question, Mr. Fauson stated the meeting times
would not present a problem for him.
Herman Fauson Appointed Mayor Meier moved, Councilman Luce seconded
that Councilman Herman Fauson be appointed to
the CML Policy Committee.
