The City Manager shall appoint a qualified person to serve as the City <br />Treasurer. <br />Sec. 2.08.020 — Powers — responsibilities and duties. <br />A. The City Treasurer shall perform the responsibilities provided for <br />in the Charter, the City's ordinances, and other applicable laws, and other duties <br />as directed by the City Manager. <br />B. The City Treasurer shall be custodian of all funds belonging to the <br />city. <br />C The City Treasurer shall keep a separate account of each fund or <br />appropnation and the debits and credits belonging thereto <br />D. The City Treasurer shall keep a register of all checks drawn upon <br />the City Treasurer, whether such checks are paid or not, showing the number, the <br />date, to whom issued, for what purpose issued, the fund on which the check is <br />drawn, and the amount. Such register shall be open to the inspection of all city <br />officers at all times. <br />Section 5. Chapter 2.14 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby repealed and <br />reenacted in its entirety, to read as follows. <br />Chapter 2 10 <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br />Sec. 2.10.010 Appointment <br />Sec 2.10.020.
