Sec. 2.12.070 — Removal. <br />The removal of any judge dunng the term of office shall require the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds (2/3) of the entire Council, any such removal shall <br />only be for one or more cause listed in Section 9-3 of the Charter <br />Sec. 2.12.080 — Costs. <br />A municipal judge in the judge's discretion may assess costs against any <br />defendant who pleads guilty or nolo contendere or who enters into a plea <br />agreement or who, after tnal, is found guilty of an ordinance violation, such costs <br />not to exceed $100 00 for tnal to the court and $200.00 for trial by jury The <br />municipal judge, city manager, or a designee, is authonzed to use any lawful <br />method of collecting fines, fees, default judgments, personal recognizance bond <br />forfeitures, civil penalties, or any other unpaid amounts due from any person <br />assessed such sums by the municipal court, including court costs, surcharges and <br />the reasonable costs of collection. Reasonable costs of collection shall include, <br />without limitation, the fees and costs of a collection agency or counsel, but such <br />fees and costs shall not exceed 25 percent of the unpaid amount. <br />Chapter 2 14 <br />CITY PROSECUTOR <br />Sec 2 14 010 Appointment <br />Sec. 2.14.020.
