Roll Call: PPLAB members present: Shelly Alm, Dave <br />Clabots, Laurie Harford, Mark Newland, Ellen Toon. Staff <br />Liaison: Dean Johnson, City Council Liaison: Susan Loo, City <br />Councilmember: Ashely Stolzman, Director of Parks & Rec: <br />Joe Stevens. Public in attendance: Celia & David Powell, <br />Michael Bishop, and Rich Chaberlins. <br />II. Approval of Agenda: Unanimously approved <br />III. Approval of Minutes: Unanimously approved <br />IV. Staff Updates: none <br />V. Board Updates: none. <br />VI. Public comments on Items Not on the Agenda: The Board <br />heard David Powell's comments asking for the Board's <br />recommendation to save the cottonwood trees near the <br />Recreation Center. Board members were also given letters, <br />one from David Powell and one from Robert Cole. <br />VII. Staff Update on Cottonwood Trees at Recreation Center: <br />The Board received the "Louisville Recreation and Senior <br />Center Cottonwood Tree Evaluation" from Kevin Marks, <br />Board Certified Master Arborist with Davey Tree Expert <br />Company. The report recommends removal of both trees for <br />public safety.
