Current City Resources (cont.) <br />Police Department <br />Has ID Card Printer/Software (MagiCard Enduro Plus) — machine can print full color, two-sided <br />plastic ID cards. <br />P.D. has digital camera that allows them to download photo to ID Card Printer software. <br />P.D. staff designs the graphics for the ID cards and builds the underlying database of the data <br />needed to print on the ID card. <br />P.D. performs fingerprinting services for the City Clerk's Office and the public. The fingerprint <br />cards are provided by the City and the fingerprinting fee is included in the $100 charged by City <br />Clerk's Office for Liquor Licensing. For the public, there is a $10 fingerprinting fee for residents <br />and $15 for non-residents, and the individual must provide P.D. properly coded fingerprint cards <br />and photo ID. There are set hours and days for this service. <br />P.D. can issue summonses to appear in Louisville Municipal Court for any violations of the <br />Louisville Municipal Code. <br />Authorized Louisville P.D. staff has licensed access to the FBI's National Crime Information Center <br />(NCIC) electronic database of crime data. <br />Planning Department <br />The Planning Department currently administers Mobile Retail Food Vending application and <br />permit, and a no -fee, online Beehive Registration. <br />The Planning Department oversees the City's current GIS project and has the ability to provide <br />various mapping functions. Planning Department has zoning, subdivision and other address data. <br />Full GIS implementation is not yet complete, but is currently underway. <br />
