PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA: NONE <br />VI. BUSINESS MATTERS OF THE COMMITTEE: <br />1. Partners for a Clean Environment (PACE) presentation. Mr. DeJong <br />introduced Matt Hannon representing PACE. Mr. Hannon provided the Committee <br />with an overview of the activities / programs provided by PACE to Boulder County <br />businesses to foster environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, waste <br />reduction and water quality and alternative transportation. Mr. Hannon responded <br />to questions from Committee members, noting that PACE is a Boulder County <br />program. A copy of the PowerPoint presentation provided to the Committee is <br />attached to these minutes. <br />2. Chamber of Commerce presentation: Louisville Chamber of Commerce <br />President and BRaD Committee Member Shelley Angell provided the Committee <br />with an update of current programs and activities of the Louisville Chamber. Ms. <br />Angell provided a handout summarizing the Events sponsored by the Chamber, <br />the benefits of Chamber membership, and administrative / outreach activities of the <br />Chamber (copy attached). <br />3. Spring Business Survey Results: Mr. DeJong presented a summary of the <br />Spring Louisville Business Survey responses. Committee discussion ensued. A <br />copy of Mr. DeJong's Summary Assessment of the Survey and Survey results is <br />attached to these minutes. <br />Mike Kranzdorf noted that recent City council discussion of improvements to the <br />City website failed to effectively address the lack of information / promotion of <br />Louisville businesses and activities available in Louisville. Discussion ensued <br />regarding comparisons to neighboring communities (e.g., Lafayette, Broomfield), <br />proper interplay between the City and the Louisville Chamber, possible intern / low <br />cost hire to focus on bolstering the City website, and other alternative resources. <br />VII. ED Update. Mr. DeJong provided the Committee with an update on economic <br />development / commercial activity in Louisville, including the following items: <br />i. McCaslin Area RFP for market study of the Centennial Valley <br />commercial area. <br />ii. Downtown Parking Structure Conceptual Design process. <br />iii. Transportation Master Plan. <br />VIII. REPORTS FROM COMMITTEE MEMBERS. None. <br />
