who lived with them at 525 Lincoln were Art ("Kenny") (born 1923), Wilma Jean (Kimmett) <br />(born 1928), and Shirley Sue (Ferarese) (born 1932). <br />The Thompson family is shown on the 1940 census as living at 525 Lincoln, with Arthur's <br />occupation being listed as that of a mine foreman. During the time that they lived there, son <br />Kenny served in the U.S. Coast Guard in World War II. <br />Enrietto Ownership of Property, 1945-1974 <br />In 1945, Peter and Laura Enrietto purchased 525 Lincoln. <br />Peter Enrietto was born in northern Italy in 1894 and came to the United States in 1913. He <br />settled in a coal mining area of southern Illinois and married Laura Giacomo in 1923. She was <br />born in Italy in 1907 and came to Illinois in 1910. In about 1944, following visits to Louisville by <br />them and their family over the previous several years, they came to Louisville to join Peter's <br />brother, Barney Enrietto, and his wife, Mary. <br />In Louisville directories, Peter is listed as having worked as a carpenter. Directories show that <br />Laura Enrietto worked as a bartender at the Hacienda Restaurant at 808 Main. After Colacci's <br />Restaurant opened next door to the Hacienda in 1955, Laura Enrietto then had a small liquor <br />store on the south of the building called "Laura's Liquors" until the early 1960s. <br />The following photo of the house and a ground layout sketch are from the Boulder County <br />Assessor card that is dated 1948: <br />4 <br />
