Outback Steakhouse <br />is a company of restaurants, not a restaurant company. There is local ownership by <br />the applicant since Mr. Flanagan resides in Louisville, also at each location there is a <br />general manager. The general manager for Louisville also resides in Louisville and <br />has a five year contract that provides consistency in management, you don't have the <br />revolving door of managers going in and out. Outback believes in giving back to <br />the community by have various charitable functions. To describe the Outback <br />Steakhouse in twenty-five words or less - it's a white table cloth quality and <br />consistency served in a down under festive atmosphere with a medium price range <br />of about $9.00 to $15.00. Outback is dinner only from 4:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and <br />until 11:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. There are 47 tables 220 maximum seating, <br />we limit three table stations per server, maximum 16 people per server. Easy <br />monitoring of tables for liquor intervention. <br /> <br />For training Outback will use any kind of local municipality training - Outback has <br />worked with the police department in Westminster, and the TIPS program, which is <br />training intervention procedures for servers. Mr. Flanagan is a former certified <br />instructor for TIPS. Mr. Flanagan is also a board member of the Colorado <br />Restaurant Association and will use all of their training facilities and materials. <br />Outback has eighteen national trainers that arrive for the opening of the restaurant <br />and stay for two weeks.
