Sustainability Advisory Board
Minutes
January 15, 2020

3
PPLAB meetings on this topic to coordinate support and ideas
for program improvement.
iv. Solar access ordinates – Council has discussed this topic and
LSAB may want to discuss the potential framework around an
ordinance for the City.
v. Bag tax or fee – Council has discussed this topic and will benefit
from LSAB input on tax vs. fee as well as single use
paper/plastics or just plastic bags. A fee could be simply
imposed whereas a tax would need to be voted on. Tax revenue
can be more broadly managed and used.
8. Discussion Item: Wildlife Management
A. Due to recent events at the church in Lafayette, we wanted to discuss
possibly recommending an ordinance to the council.
