City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />November 17, 2020 <br />Page 2 of 9 <br />RJ Harrington, 457 East Raintree Court, stated he has heard the utility bills for the new <br />recreation center are higher than anticipated. He suggested the City find ways to reduce <br />the costs and the environmental impacts. <br />Rick Kron, President of the Downtown Business Association, stated that as Boulder <br />County is likely to be moved to Level Red which will mean no indoor restaurant dining, he <br />would like the Council to discuss keeping Main Street closed to traffic to allow for outdoor <br />dining. <br />APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT AGENDA <br />Mayor Stolzmann asked for changes to the consent agenda; hearing none she asked for <br />a motion. Mayor Pro Tern Maloney moved to approve the consent agenda, seconded by <br />Councilmember Fahey. All in favor. <br />A. Approval of Bills <br />B. Approval of Minutes: November 2, 2020 <br />C. Approval of Execution of Engagement Letter for Auditing Services with <br />Eide Bailly, LLC <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br />AGENDA <br />Mayor Stolzmann noted the COVID restrictions are again tightening due to significant <br />increases in case numbers. Current recommendations include no gatherings with people <br />outside your immediate household and limiting all trips. More information will be out in the <br />next few days. <br />107_119:Its] YC M11 IN 4 <br />Municipal Judge David Thrower swore in Kyle Brown as the Ward III Councilmember after <br />his November 3 election to the seat. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />City Manager Balser stated we do anticipate Boulder County will be moving to COVID <br />level red on Friday but are waiting for details. Once we have the information staff will get it <br />out to our residents. <br />
