City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />January 5, 2021 <br />Page 5 of 6 <br />Mayor Pro Tern Maloney stated conceptually the program is important but we need more <br />information. He would like staff to stay involved and report back to Council on the <br />progress. Councilmember Fahey agreed. <br />Public Comments — None. <br />Councilmember Dickinson stated he likes the program and would like the City to <br />participate. <br />Mayor Stolzmann stated she agrees with Councilmember Leh and feels the City should <br />not weigh in until we have more information. Councilmember Brown agreed. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />None. <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS, COMMITTEE REPORTS, AND IDENTIFICATION OF FUTURE <br />AGENDA ITEMS <br />ECONOMIC VITALITY COMMITTEE — meeting 1/15 <br />FINANCE COMMITTEE — no update <br />UTILITY COMMITTEE — meeting in early February <br />COLORADO COMMUNITIES FOR CLIMATE ACTION — no report <br />COMMUTING SOLUTIONS — no report <br />CONSORTIUM OF CITIES — no report <br />DOWNTOWN BUSINESS ASSOCIATION STREET FAIRE — Met today and are <br />discussing if there are scalable ways to move forward for the summer. <br />DENVER REGIONAL COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS — Will be looking at the stimulus <br />funding for highways and working on those allocations. <br />JOINT INTEREST COMMITTEES (SUPERIOR & LAFAYETTE) — no report <br />METRO MAYORS CAUCUS — supported the governor's move to Orange Level on the <br />COVID scale and the addition of 70-years-olds in the vaccine plan. <br />NORTHWEST MAYORS & COMMISSIONERS COALITION — no report <br />
