City0 <br />f <br />'6Louisville Cultural Council Meeting Minutes <br />COLORADO -SINCE 1878 <br />Thursday, December 17, 2020 <br />Virtual Meeting <br />5:30 PM <br />We promote arts and culture in Louisville. We program cultural events, <br />advocate for and support artists, and advise City Council. By doing so <br />we engage our diverse social, cultural, and creative community. <br />This meeting will be held electronically. Residents interested in listening to the meeting should visit <br />the City's website here to link to the meeting: <br />https://www.louisvilleco.ciov/government/boards-commissions/cultural-council <br />The Council will accommodate public comments as much as possible during the meeting. Anyone <br />may also email comments to the Council prior to the meeting at KZoss(@LouisvilleCO.gov. <br />Call to Order <br />11. Roll Call <br />Present: Adam Sloat, Robby Pitt, Leah Franks, Debbie Davies, Mark Cathcart, <br />Kim Poletti, Kate Ward, Tami Owen, Katie Zoss <br />Absent: Debbie, <br />111. Approval of Today's Agenda: Kate approves, Adam approves <br />V. Public Comments: Items Not on the Agenda: Comments later in the meeting <br />from the public. None <br />V. Correction and/or Approval of November Meeting minutes: Kim approves, <br />Leah, seconds <br />VI. Chairs Report: (Adam) Office elections are in January, 1 new member <br />coming in. Chair, Vice Chair and Secretary positions are open. <br />VII. Staff Report & Budget Update (Katie) New LCC member is Lisa Kihn joining <br />us in January. City is working with Boulder county as how to move forward <br />to larger events into the spring and summer of 2021. The LCC has the final <br />approved budget for 2021. Art and Arts grant is the same, General LCC <br />programming is down from $20,000 to $15,00 with a $3000 supplement in <br />addition. Adam, can we move some programming money into public art in <br />2021, if we don't spend it because of the pandemic. Katie, the council can <br />be approached at a later date to answer that question.
