Public Art Update: (Katie) LRC is interested in funding the remaining money <br />for the underground passes project. Can a member of the LCC meet with <br />the open space advisory board in regards to the Davidson mesa underpass <br />art project, the meeting is in February, Kim has offered to attend. Mural <br />project update: (mark) Feedback from LCC is positive to move forward, <br />discussions of location/design is in further discussion. Questions regarding <br />is public art still public if it's on private property, Katie, we can explore <br />options to involve the city funds. Kate, Robert Romero is struggling to <br />complete the project due to covid business complications, Katie, the funds <br />have been approved hold until circumstances change. LCC will continue to <br />support the sculpture project. <br />X. Winter Programming Update (Adam) Programming has been successful and <br />reaching an audience. <br />X. 2021 Programming/Recovery Plans Brainstorm: Kim (online beer/wine <br />tasting/information) (restaurants could showcase make your favorite dish). <br />Adam, (Artists to create art/posters to support other businesses to help <br />advertise. LCC will brainstorm future ideas as the situation develops. Leah, <br />general prize contest for house/art poster. Beth, a bingo card or scavenger <br />hunt to encourage people to explore Louisville businesses and open space. <br />The LCC has decided to revisit ideas that didn't happen in 2020, also the <br />group should use their resources and knowledge to offer support for <br />community projects. <br />XI.
