City0 <br />f <br />'6Louisville Cultural Council Meeting Minutes <br />COLORADO -SINCE 1878 <br />Thursday, February 18, 2021 <br />Virtual Meeting <br />5:30 PM <br />We promote arts and culture in Louisville. We program cultural events, <br />advocate for and support artists, and advise City Council. By doing so <br />we engage our diverse social, cultural, and creative community. <br />This meeting will be held electronically. Residents interested in listening to the meeting should visit <br />the City's website here to link to the meeting: <br />https://www.louisvilleco.ciov/government/boards-commissions/cultural-council <br />The Council will accommodate public comments as much as possible during the meeting. Anyone <br />may also email comments to the Council prior to the meeting at KZoss(@LouisvilleCO.gov. <br />Call to Order. Meeting called at 5:31 pm <br />11. Roll Call <br />Present: Leah Franks, Beth McLennan, Debbie Davies, Mark Cathcart, Kate <br />Ward, Lisa Kihn, Tami Owen, Emily Hogan, Robbie Pitt, Katie Baum, Erin Owen <br />Absent: Kim Poletti, Adam Sloat <br />111. Approval of Today's Agenda: Kate approves, Lisa seconds <br />V. Public Comments: Items Not on the Agenda: None <br />V. Correction and/or Approval of January Meeting minutes: Beth approves, <br />Kate seconds <br />VI. Chairs Report: (Leah) The year is still unsure at this point, but the LCC is <br />motivated to use the funds allocated. Hopeful that we can have some live <br />events in the fall. <br />VII. Staff Report & Budget Update (Emily Hogan) Underpass projects have <br />approved 50% deposit for work to begin. Has the LCC tracked the previous <br />grant recipients from 2020, Leah, Katie Zoss usually tracked that. Emily, as <br />long as the funds are used in 2021, they are still available. Mark, previous <br />years, the LCC members would follow up, Katie would keep a document. <br />LCC will revisit 2020 recipients so we can follow up. 2021 city council has <br />been discussing summer concerts, we would be required to have a covid <br />plan set out in advance and go by state regulations. Leah, we need <br />guidance from the city regarding moving forward.
