Public Art Update: <br />Public Art Committee Update (Mark) None <br />II. McCaslin and South Street underpass projects: (Leah). Kim went to the <br />open space advisory meeting and they wanted a report on the mccaslin <br />underpass. Questions arose about lighting and what the rest of the panels <br />would look like. The advisory board are working on linking the tunnel to <br />educational opportunities. <br />X. Arts Grant (Erin) Online form was set up through the City website, there <br />were some issues with some artists submitting forms. If artists did not reach <br />out to say there was an issue the city would never know. A statement on the <br />website has been put on the site to directly email her with submissions, as a <br />result there may be more submissions coming in the next few weeks. <br />Debbie, grants do not have to be filled to the full amount. LCC has allocated <br />grants to members to reach out to artists and report back in March to score <br />and decide on arts grants funding. <br />X. Spring Programming : (Katie) Sustainability coordinator for Louisville. <br />Film program was well attended along with Q & A session after and was a <br />very successful event. Hoping to do another series, hopefully in person, <br />but also virtual. Mark, can Katie email us upcoming events, Katie, we can <br />partner with the sustainable committee for future programming. <br />XI. Future Programming and Initiatives Discussion: Subcommittee to discuss <br />spring and summer programming. Tami, Robbie, Leah, Lisa will form a <br />subcommittee to discuss possibilities to bring concerts and other outdoor <br />events back. Robbie, are the downtown barriers staying up, downtown <br />business would like street closure when it gets warmer, Emily, the council <br />will discuss the possibilities of closures going into the warmer months. <br />XII.
