Parks and Public Landscaping Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Thursday, February 4, 2021 <br />Virtual Meeting <br />OWN <br />1. Roll Call: PPLAB members present: Laurie Harford, Ellen Toon, Shelly Alm, Dave <br />Clabbots, Steve Knapp and Diana Gutowski. Dean Johnson, Parks <br />Superintendant. Rob Zuccaro, Director of Planning & Building Safety. Nathan <br />Mosely, Director of Parks, Recreation & Open Space. Ginger Cross, Marketing <br />Specialist Parks, Recreation and Open Space. Jordan Swisher, Jay Hardy and <br />Geoff Baukol, Brue Baukol Capital Partners. <br />2. Approval of Agenda: approved unanimously. <br />3. Approval of Minutes: approved unanimously. <br />4. Staff Updates: <br />a. Louisville Parks Department contractor update on irrigation design <br />consultant. <br />5. Board Updates: <br />a. Diana Gutowski, PPLAB board member, planning to move in next few <br />months. <br />6. Public Comments on Items Not on Agenda: <br />a. Questions regarding the cable install at Sunflower Park. <br />i. Contractor is required to return property to "as it was found or <br />better" upon completion. <br />ii. Walkthrough with Parks after completion to address issues re: <br />landscaping & irrigation. <br />7. Red Tail Ridge Review & Presentation: <br />a. Review - Rob Zuccaro presented an overview of the City process related <br />to PCZD (planned community -zoned districts), the GDP (General <br />Development Plan), background on the property as well as reviewed <br />differences between 2020 proposal and 2021 proposal. <br />b. Questions & Discussion: <br />i. Noted current proposal does not include funds to build the park, <br />only the land allocated for future park development. <br />ii. As Subdivision plats come into play, if they have public <br />landscaping, they will be taken to PPLAB to review, depending on <br />the scope of the PUD. <br />iii. Questions from Board regarding plans for many shade trees in <br />landscaping plans and how those shade trees require large <br />2 <br />
