amounts of water in a future of water scarcity. Jordan Swisher <br />pointed out the requirements/codes the City has for a certain <br />number of trees. Rob Zuccaro pointed out the requirement for <br />shade and limiting heat with the addition and use of trees, in <br />addition to promoting ease of using public transit and alternative <br />methods of transportation, i.e. walking/biking. <br />iv. Questions regarding RTD's plans to bring routing to this new <br />development. Rob Zuccaro indicated they do plan to service Red <br />Tail Ridge through some combination of routing. Lots of thought <br />on how to get transit to that last mile of the commute. <br />v. In terms of timeline, the final plat presented in April 2021 or July <br />for more landscape details. <br />vi. Movement to approve the GDP - unanimously approved by PPLAB <br />board members. <br />8. City Staff Presents Marketing Plan Options for Organic Weed Control Methods: <br />a. Ginger Cross shared plans for herbicide communication. <br />i. Goal — let citizens know what we're working on. <br />ii. Collaboration between Ginger, Ember, Nathan & Dean to <br />brainstorm and they will continue to review communication plans <br />and launch as spring 2021 approaches. <br />b. The multi -media plan will communicate 3 main points: <br />i. Glysophate free <br />ii. Going to see more weeds <br />iii. Still going to see spraying <br />Discussion & Questions: <br />i. Suggestion to include at least 2 signs in each park. <br />9. Review Park Scorecard and Continue 2021 Goal setting Discussion <br />a. Dean gave an overview of the purpose of this scorecard system. <br />b. Last time we scored parks was in 2018. <br />c. Suggestion to prioritize capital improvement section to flag them. <br />d. Suggestion to divide the parks up again and compare ratings and <br />familiarize ourselves with the various parks around town. <br />e. Dean suggested we limit 'comments' section to the capital improvements <br />only (over 5K, as opposed to fixing it up or maintenance). For example, <br />should there be more shelters, a couple more benches, more trees for <br />shade, etc? <br />f. Dean is going to update the scorecard forms with revised park names. <br />i. Steve suggested more space for comments and also a space to <br />write the date. <br />ii. Laurie suggested more parameters on the scorecard for <br />consistency, maybe with photos? <br />11.
