APPROVAL OF REVOCABLE LICENSE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY <br /> AND THE SPRINGS AT COAL CREEK RANCH HOMEOWNERS <br /> ASSOCIATION <br />AUTHORIZATION TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS - DOWNTOWN <br /> REDEVELOPMENT AND STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECTS <br />ADOPTION OF 1998 PROPOSED BUDGET CALENDAR <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Sisk called for any changes to the Agenda. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />Sisk moved that Council approve the Agenda, seconded by Howard. All in favor. <br /> <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS <br /> NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayer pointed out that there had been an increase in burglaries in Louisville this year. He asked that <br />Council direct the Chief of Police and City Administrator to draft a letter to the District Attorney's <br />office expressing the City's concern and very positively saying that the City wanted burglars <br />prosecuted to the full extent of the law. <br /> <br />Howard suggested that the neighboring cities be asked to join Louisville in a joint letter expressing <br />their concern about letting career criminals loose with no justice. He commended Police Chief Bruce <br />Goodman for helping Erie in decreasing speeding problems and on the support of the Louisville <br />Police Department in the Boulder riots. <br /> <br />Keany reminded the citizens that the Taste of Louisville would be June 14 and the same day that the <br />Flag Day ceremonies would be at the Tri-City Elks at 4:30 p.m. <br /> <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> <br />PRESENTATION - WATER WEEK CERTIFICATES AND AWARDS <br /> <br />Sisk welcomed five students from the Louisville Middle School whose essays for Water Week were <br />selected as being the most informative. He and Tom Phare, Director of Public Works, presented girl <br />Certificates to Yang Chu, Adam Smith, Amy O'Callahan, Shayla Stewart, and Lindsey Ringle. A <br />$50 savings bond was also presented to Yang Chu for the best essay. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
