None. <br />APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT AGENDA <br />City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />April 20, 2021 <br />Page 2 of 14 <br />Mayor Stolzmann asked for changes to the consent agenda; hearing none she asked for <br />a motion. Mayor Pro Tern Maloney moved to approve the consent agenda, seconded by <br />Councilmember Brown. All in favor. <br />A. Approval of Bills <br />B. Approval of Minutes: April 6, 2021 <br />C. Approval of Resolution No. 27, Series 2021 — A Resolution Approving an <br />Intergovernmental Agreement with Boulder County for the Resurfacing of a <br />Segment of Empire Drive <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br />AGENDA <br />Mayor Stolzmann gave comments about the recent verdict in the George Floyd murder <br />case. She stated the City is committed to fair policing policies as well as equity, diversity, <br />and inclusion (EDI) goals. She noted the City has reviewed and is committed to policing <br />policies the community can support and that bring justice to all. She encouraged <br />community members to stay involved in these programs. <br />Councilmember Fahey congratulated the Library staff on their new program for giving first <br />library cards to children. <br />No report. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br />BOULDER COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH UPDATE ON COVID-19 AND NEW DIAL <br />METRICS GUIDANCE <br />Dr. Lexi Nolan, Interim Boulder County Public Health Director, gave an update on the <br />County's COVID status. She stated the current positivity rate is 4.4% and noted they are <br />seeing some stabilization in case numbers although they have been quite variable lately. <br />Across the state and nation case numbers are trending upward. Locally, rates show most <br />transmission among younger people who are not able to be vaccinated and CU students. <br />They are seeing are some disparities and increases in the Hispanic population and the <br />County is now making efforts to reach that population with vaccines and the hope is to <br />
