SUBJECT: POTENTIAL BALLOT TRANSPORTATION TAX DISCUSSION <br />DATE: JUNE 17, 2021 <br />PAGE8OF8 <br />Per the City's Charter requirements for a TABOR ballot question, any proposed ballot <br />question will be scheduled for 1st reading at the July 13 City Council meeting. An election <br />calendar is included for reference. <br />PROGRAM/SUB-PROGRAM IMPACT: <br />The transportation improvements support the City's Transportation goal to maintain a <br />safe, well -maintained, effective and efficient multi -modal transportation system at a <br />reasonable cost. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Specific direction is required on the number of underpasses to move forward for <br />financing and construction, dollar amount for those transportation improvements, <br />prioritization of underpass construction and preferences regarding possible ballot <br />language for financing any gaps in City and/or LRC funds. <br />ATTACHMENT(S): <br />1.
