Show Cause Hearing — KCM Restaurant Holdings, LLC d/b/a Mudrock's Tap and Tavern — Hotel & Restaurant Liquor License — 585 South Boulder Rd — April 12, 2021 Incident (continued from October 25, 2021 Meeting) Introductions by Adam Golin and Dan Carr with Dill & Dill. A stipulation has been reached that negates a hearing. A Revision of 4b of the stipulation was made. Machado moved to approved amended Stipulation and Finding and Order; second Newell. Roll call vote — All in favor. B. Public Hearing - New Application — April Flowers Hair, LLC d/b/a Sunbeam Studio — Beer & Wine Liquor License — 1655 Cannon Circle, Unit 300 The public hearing for April Flowers Hair, LLC d/b/a Sunbeam Studio was opened by Kaufmann. The Secretary stated the application was complete, the premises was posting, notice was published as required and no comments were received. There were no reasons to deny the application. There were no Authority member disclosures and the board agreed that the boundaries of the neighborhood were the current city boundaries. Kaufman moved that the entire application be made part of the record of the hearing; Machado seconded. All in favor. The applicant, April Wetzel, was sworn in by the Secretary and gave testimony on the location, the nature of the business and the desire for a liquor license. Questions were asked by the board regarding the exact location of the business and the anticipated business model (hair salon). An email in support of the license was noted by the Secretary as the resident was unable to attend the meeting in person. There was no opposition to report. After brief member discussion, Lipton noted that the applicant was of good moral character, there was a desire for the license to be granted and that all City and State law requirements have been met. Based on those findings, she moved that the Beer & Wine Liquor License for April Flowers Hair, LLC d/b/a Sunbeam Studio be approved. The motion was seconded by Machado. Roll Call Vote: All in favor.
