SUBJECT: RESOLUTION NO. 19, SERIES 2022
DATE: MARCH 21, 2022 PAGE 2 OF 2
Asbestos concrete disposal (we do not know, but believe a
significant number of foundations will have asbestos in the
concrete. This disposal fee is much higher than non -asbestos
concrete.) A rough estimate is that disposal of asbestos concrete
will be approximately $3000 per parcel
Concrete flatwork (driveways and patios, etc.) removal and disposa
• For maximum pricing and efficiency, DRC and the County
have agreed to price this work on a per -ton basis,
recognizing that this category of debris is ineligible for FEMA
reimbursement so can be tracked differently. DRC has
estimated $4,510 per parcel to remove all concrete flatwork
(driveways, patios, etc.).
FISCAL IMPACT:
This is an un-budgeted expenditure and will have a negative impact on General Fund
fund balance.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approval of resolution provided by the City Attorney
ATTACHMENT(S):
1.
