11/15/83 Page -2- ?ROVAL OF THE BILLS City Treasurer Hesson read the bills in the amount of $101,654.46. Councilman Cussen moved, Councilman Fauson seconded that the bills be approved and checks issued for the same. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried unani- mously. ITEMS ENCLOSED Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Cummings seconded that the items enclosed be accepted and brought up under the proper head of business. Question called for. All in favo . Motion carried. COUNCIL ITEMS AMERICAN LEGION POST III SPECIAL EVENTS LIQUOR LICENSE - PUBLIC HEARING Councilmembers had a copy of the application and Attorney Rautenstraus advised that it was in order. Mayor Meier opened the public hearing. Attorney Rautenstraus advised that notice of the public hearing was properly given and the property was posted. Mayor Meier asked if there was any presenta- tion by the applicant for by staff - none. Anyone in favor of the applicant - none Anyone in opposition of the applicant - none. Council comments - none. Mayor Meier closed the public hearing. APPROVAL Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Cummings seconded that the American Legion Post III Liquor license application for special events for December 3, 1983 from 4:00 P.M. till December 4, 1983 2:00 A.M. be approved. Roll Call vote: Meier Yes Fauson Yes Cummings Yes Leary Yes Cussen Yes Morris' Yes Motion carried unanimously. BLUE PARROT INC. - LIQUOR LICENSE RENEWAL Councilmembers had a copy of the renewal and Attorney Rautenstraus advised that the application was in order. Also advised that this was a liquor license renewal and appli- cation for change of ownership. Council would need to approve both of these, if they so desire.
