<br />RECESS <br /> <br />WESTERN EMPIRE CONSTRUCTION <br />PAY ESTIMATE #7 - WASTEWATER <br />PLANT <br /> <br />PAYMENT AUTHORIZED <br /> <br />bOULDER COUNTY CONCRETE <br />PAY ESTIMATE #1 - CONCRETE <br />REPLACEMENT <br /> <br />PAYMENT AUTHORIZED <br /> <br />Mayor Meier <br /> <br />VOTE ON THE MOTION <br /> <br />COLACCI'S LIQUOR LICENSE <br />RENEWAL <br /> <br />'")PROVAL <br /> <br />10/18/83 <br /> <br />Page -4- <br /> <br />member of the Louisville Downtown Development <br />Corp. was excited about the preliminary plan. <br />Wished Mayor and councilmembers to know that they <br />were not alone; that a vital part of the com- <br />munity is also interested in the plan and <br />other members of the LDC would be happy to <br />help in any way to develop the plan. <br /> <br />Councilman Cussen arrived at the meeting at <br />8:10 P.M. - excused due to School Election. <br /> <br />Mayor Meier called a recess at 8:20 P.M. <br />Meeting reconvened at 8:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Councilmembers had a copy of the pay estimate <br />as well as a memo from the Consulting Engineer <br />recommending Council authorize payment. <br /> <br />Councilman Ferrera moved, Councilman Fauson <br />seconded that pay estimate #7 in the amount <br />of $157,550.00 to Western Empire Construction <br />for the wastewater plant be paid. Question <br />called for. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilmembers had a copy of the pay estimate <br />and recommendation from the Public Works <br />Director that it be paid. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Ferrera <br />seconded that Pay Estimate #1 in the amount <br />of $11,121.67 to Boulder County Conrete for <br />concrete replacement be paid. <br /> <br />Commented that overall the concrete replace- <br />ment was done well; however some of the areas <br />seemed extremely rough. <br />Director Kasch advised that it was a broom <br />finish which provides skid resistance, but <br />his staff would check on this. <br /> <br />Question called for. All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilmembers had a copy of the application, <br />report from the Police Dept., and Attorney <br />Rautenstraus advised that the application <br />was in order. <br /> <br />Councilman Cussen moved, Councilwoman Morris <br />seconded that Colacci's Liquor License be <br />renewed. Question called for. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />
