Motion defeated 4-3. <br /> <br />Councilwoman Morris moved, Mayor Meier <br />seconded that the date be changed from January <br />1, 1985 to January 1, 1984. Question called <br />for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Question called for. All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilmembers had a copy of the ordinance; <br />Attorney Rautenstraus read it by title only <br />on first reading and the request was for <br />publication. <br /> <br />Referred to item 6. of the ordinance and <br />requested a list of the facilties "Acciden- <br />tal Discharges" would effect. <br /> <br />Inquired what precipitated this ordinance? <br />Administrator Wurl advised as part of our <br />permit we are required to update our waste- <br />water ordinance.- is a State requirement. <br />City Engineer Blanchard stated the State <br />required that the City establish an industrial <br />pre-treatment program and this ordinance is <br />the mechanism to do this. The state will <br />review it entotal. <br /> <br />Councilman Leary moved, Councilman Cussen <br />seconded that Ordinance #789 - Wastewater <br />Regulation be published and a public hearing <br />set for May 3, 1983. Question called for. <br />All in favor. Hotion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved, Councilwoman Morris <br />seconded that the City Attorney's report <br />be accepted and placed on file. Question <br />called for. All in favor. Hotion carried <br />unanimously. <br />
