Duane Eicher ADOPTION RECESS ORDINANCE #787 - TAP FEE TANGES TABLED ORDINANCE #788 - MEMBERSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLICATION AUTHORIZED Councilman Ferrera 4/5/83 Page -13- Stated in response to Mr. Wurl's question, he didn't know VlThether he needed 2 weeks, because their property was not considered when he went around them. He felt that we really had a year.- did not favor the delay. Mayor Meier then closed the public hearing. Councilwoman Morris moved, Councilman Cummings seconded that Ordinance #785 - Eicher - Disconnection be adopted. Roll call vote: Fauson Yes Ferrera Yes Cummings Yes Morris Yes Meier Yes Cussen Yes Leary Yes Motion carried unanimously. Mayor Meier called a recess. Meeting re- convened at 10:10 P.M. Councilmembers had a copy of the ordinance; Attorney Rautenstraus read it by title only on second reading. Administrator Wurl requested the ordinance be tabled until next meeting. Nayor Meier moved, Councilman Cummings seconded that Ordinance #787 - Tap Fee Changes be tabled until the April 19th council meeting. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. Councilmembers had a copy of the ordinance; Attorney Rautenstraus read the ordinance by title only on first reading and the request was for publication. Councilwoman Morris moved, Councilman Cussen seconded that Ordinance #788 - Memership Planning Commission be published. Wished to amend the ordinance to read if the person is already on the Planning Commission, prior to election to City Council, he does not have to resign the post. He did not favor City Council appointing their own members to the Planning Commission, but if the person was appointed prior to his election to Council did not feel he should resign.
