<br />RESOLUTION #14 - AMENDMENT <br />TO 1983 BUDGET <br /> <br />Major Thoroughfare Improve- <br />ments <br /> <br />ADOPTION <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #15 - Heritage <br />Filing #2 - Final Plat and <br />P.U.D. <br /> <br />Dennis Drumm, Associated <br />Land Consultants, 744 Main St. <br /> <br />3/15/83 <br /> <br />Page -6- <br /> <br />Councilmembers had a copy of the resolution <br />and Attorney Rautenstraus read it in its <br />entirety. <br /> <br />Administrator Wurl advised the increased <br />revenues were due to fund balance carryovers <br />from 1982, and explained the expenditures in <br />each of the funds. Advised of the proposals <br />which will be submitted for the improvements <br />to South Boulder Road, in 3 phases, widening <br />of Via Appia, and Delaney and Cherry Street. <br />On Main St. the preliminary plans will be <br />submitted for water line improvements, and <br />in conjunction with this will request council's <br />direction on Main St. improvements. The ex- <br />pected time frame on Delaney and Cherry St. <br />late April - early May for overlay, weather <br />permitting. <br />Wurl to meet with Varra Enterprises on repairs <br />to South 80th. Also to check with the County <br />regarding their participation of intersection <br />on South Boulder Road. <br /> <br />Councilman Cussen moved, Councilwoman Morris <br />seconded that Resolution #14 - Amendment to <br />1983 Budget be adopted. Question called for. <br />All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilmembers had a copy of the resolution <br />and Attorney Rautenstraus read it in its <br />entirety. <br />Director Rupp gave a slide presentation of <br />the proposal located north of Cherry St. <br />and east of South Filmore Avenue, consisting <br />of 40.7 acres, zoned RL and complied with <br />our comprehensive plan. The proposed develop- <br />ment has 172 single family lots - net density <br />5.3 units/acre - 400 Series. The original <br />plat submitted to the Planning Commission was <br />approved by them by a vote of 4-3. <br />Dennis Drumm representing the Ann Development <br />Company had submitted a letter and revised <br />plat to councilmembers. <br /> <br />Representing the developer, stated when the <br />preliminary plat was submitted to the Planning <br />Commission, the homeowners who had purchased <br />homes in the Heritage 1 subdivision were very <br />concerned about the access in the transition, <br />and did not favor the 400 Series homes to be <br />constructed in their neighborhood, which were <br />the 500 Series homes.
