<br />Councilman Cussen <br /> <br />APPROVAL <br /> <br />BLACK DIAMOND SALOON - REQUEST <br />TO ALTER PREMISES <br /> <br />APPROVAL <br /> <br />STORER CABLE T.V. - DISCUSSION <br />PENDING TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP <br /> <br />Mayor Meier <br /> <br />3/1/83 <br /> <br />Page -2- <br /> <br />Referred to the incident report provided by <br />the Police Department relative to the liquor <br />license renewal and expressed concern regard- <br />ing the disturbance incidents not reported <br />by the establishment. <br />Attorney Rautenstraus advised the first in- <br />cident should have been reported as it was <br />a verified disturbance; however the last one <br />was not as there was not sufficient evidence. <br />Pertinent to the second incident listed on <br />the report, the officer suspected this <br />occurred, therefore issued a warning. <br />Had there been sufficient evidence in any <br />of the incidents the parties involved would <br />have been charged in Municipal Court. <br />Councilman Cussen stated he felt these were <br />serious and should it occur in the future <br />at this establishment, council should con- <br />sider a 3-5 day suspension of the liquor <br />license. <br /> <br />Question called for on the motion. All <br />in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Attorney Rautenstraus advised this request <br />was a follow-up on the liquor license <br />for modification of premises. The special <br />review use and P.U.D. was approved at last <br />council meeting. No public hearing required. <br />Councilman Ferrera moved, Councilman Cummings <br />seconded that the Black Diamond Saloon <br />request for modification of premises be <br />approved. Question called for. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Rod Dagenais, Area Manager, for the state <br />of Colorado for Storer Cable TV, stated <br />he received this post when Joe Tennessen <br />resigned. He advised that Storer Cable <br />TV is considering the possible transfer of <br />ownership to Scripps-Howard. <br /> <br />Commented he wished Scripps-Howard to supply <br />council a package of the services that would <br />be available, as well as compliance with the <br />franchise held by Storer. <br />Mr. Dagenais advised he did not have such <br />a package available at this time - did know <br />that Scripps-Howard will be serving Longmont <br />and Lafayette cmd presently are serving <br />some cities in California, Florida and Connect- <br />icut. <br />
