Councilman Cussen

Counoilman Leary

Councilman Cummings

NEODATA REQUEST RELATING TO
ENTRY WAY

3/1/83

Page -3-

Mr. Dagenais felt certain that representa-
tives of Scripps-Howard would request to
be on the next council agenda.

Expressed concern regarding the pQ!taple equipment
that was promised to the City by Joe Tennessen;
would like to know the status of that. Should
the ownership transfer contract be consummated,
Councilman Cussen wished assurance specific
types of equipment would be stated and def-
inite delivery dates kept on the specified
equipment due the City.
Was also concerned that several residents in
the Medema Homes subdivision had not been
served.
Dagenais advised that the first phase of
the subdivision had been installed and they
are working with the telephone company on
shared trenching for the second phase.
Cussen was still concerned about the listings also.
Concurred with all the concerns expressed
by Councilman Cussen and stated that before
he would approve the sale either most of the
commitments would have to have been met, or
rather than have to accept promises from
anyone would require a bond be posted for
150% of the value of the equipment due the
City.
Dagenais stated if Storer wished to sell
the property, obviously they will do what
they can to satisfy the concerns of the coun-
cil as well as live up to the franchise agree-
ment; and whatever is worked out on the cor-
porate level between the two companies.
Specifics would be stated in writing .

Commented that several residents had contacted
him regarding the booklets being mailed to
them at no charge and wished to express his
appreciation for these.

Councilmembers had a copy of the request
from Lewis B. Walton, Jr., Vice President.
Director Rupp advised that Ken Taniguchi,
Architect for Neodata had been in touch
with Don Shallock, Architect of the LDS
Church, relating to the suggested shared
or common entra.nce driveway; and Mr. Tani-
guchi had provided all the necessary in-
formation to be presented to the Salt Lake
