3/1/83

Page -6-

Attorney Rautenstraus

Advised LDS Chur.ch~__did_liQt__haveHa _-sub:::
division agreement; but do have the Special
Review Use Agreement, which requires that
they take reasonable steps, to pursue with
the City and the adjoining property owners
the possibility of joint access. Felt they
should come in and state the reasonable
steps that they took to pursue this. Further
suggested that council request something in
writing from the Church stating the reason-
able steps they have taken to deal with the
shared access.
Councilman Ferrera stated he would rather
have a representative present to answer
council's questions.
Mr. LaTorra concurred with Ferrera and stated
in any construction project of this complexity
additional costs are incurred.
Stated it would be appropriate to have both
a written state~ment and the representatives
from Salt Lake.

Administrator Wurl

TABLE NEODATA'S REQUEST

Councilman Cummings

Councilwoman Morris moved, Councilman Cussen
seconded that Neodata's request be tabled
until next council meeting when more in-
formation is available. Also LDS Church
representatives from Salt Lake City be
present to respond to council's questions.
Added to the motion with the concurrence
of Councilwoman Morris and Councilman Cussen
whomever is present as LDS Church represen-
tative make a commitment regarding the
shared access to be followed in writing
so that other parties involved can proceed
with their project.

Amendment to the Motion

Councilman Leary moved, Councilman Ferrera
seconded that a statement of disinterest
on the part of the LDS Church would not con-
stitute reasonable efforts to resolve the
issue. Question called for on the amend-
ment. All in favor. Motion carried unani-
mously.

Approval with Addition
and Amendment

Question called for on the motion with the
addition and amendment. All in favor. Motion
carried unanimously.

Councilman Fauson

Commented it was his understanding that all
decisions made by the LDS representatives
had to be apprcrved by a Board.
