All in favor. Absent: Mayor Sisk and Mayor Sackett. A. Approval of Bills B. Approval of Minutes (3/03/09) C. Award 2009 Tree Planting Services Contract to Harmony Gardens, Inc. D. Award Bid to Restoration Concrete, Inc. for Memory Square Pool Bath House Flooring E. Approval of Agreement with Scott, Cox and Associates, Inc. for Professional Geotechnical Services for the City's 2009 Capital Improvements Program F. Approval to Modify the Scope of Services for the existing Agreement with Short Elliott Hendrickson, Inc. (SHE) for Construction Management Services for the Dillon Road Project G. Approval to Cancel March 24, 2009 City Council Study Session H. Approval of Takoda Metropolitan District Intergovernmental Agreement PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA Youth Advisory Board members Sam Webster and Megan Valentine invited Council and the public to the second Poet-a-thon, which will be held at the Art Center on Saturday, April 11, 2009, at 6:00 p.m. All proceeds will go to Social Services to purchase backpacks for students in foster care. Admission is $2.00 at the door. COUNCil INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA Mayor Pro Tem Marsella wished everyone a Happy St. Patrick's Day. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT City Manager Fleming reported on the following: · Mayor Sisk is representing the City at the National League of Cities meeting in Washington, D.C. The Mayor notified the City of the U.S. Attorney General's announcement of funding for Police Officers through the COPS Program. The City will apply for funds to hire a police officer.
