These pri.vate easements now have been ob- tained and construction is being completed at this time. Therefore, it was his opinion the company had complied with the Agreement with the City. Another problem incurred with the apartment complexes was obtaining a signed contract. In complexes larger than 8 units additional design work had to be done, as well as additional material shipped. In November, 1982 21 letters were sent to apartment owners or managers, re- requesting a wiring agreement; also if there were more than 9 units, a simple plat of the property was required. Five responses were recedved. A follow-up letter was sent on Harch 21, 1982.with the agreement enclosed for signature. Three to five re- sponses VlTere received from this effort. In the interim, and presently telephone calls are being made to obtain these agree- ments from the apartment complexes. Tennessen stated their corporate policy is that the installation will be done to the satisfaction of the customer. He then informed Council, if the paperwork had been received, all apartment customers would be served by Hay 15, 1982 - those where thE~ . have minor problems will be served by Hay 30, 1982. Hr. Tennessen advised a free service would be installed in the recreation room of the Regal Square complex, then a meeting would be held with the tenants. He then spoke relative to non-compliance with section 15 B - providing free service, i.e. City Hall, Schools, Fire Department, etc. Letters ~vill be sent this week and installa- tions will then be made. In regard_to re- placement of sod and grass, this process began Hay 1st. Requested anyone having such problems, call the office and it would be given iwnediate attention. The same practice is applicable for street repairs. The City does hold $25,000 in a savings account deposited by Storer Cable TV and in the event the agreed repairs are not made, the expenditure to have the City crew make the repairs could be taken from this fund.
