<br />Councilman Cussen <br /> <br />Portable Cable TV Equipment <br /> <br />5/4/82 <br /> <br />Page -3- <br /> <br />Finally _. local origination equipment - <br />this has been approved and ordered, and <br />the delivery date is August 1, 1982. <br />Mr. Tennessen reported on the positive side <br />Louisville has one of the best systems in <br />the State, providing good pictures, to date <br />4 additional channels have been added with- <br />out raising the rates, 5 more channels <br />will be added this summer; the system <br />can be increased to 52 channels. The <br />company is installing a 48" storm sewer, <br />street iTI~rovements, and constructed a <br />new building with first-class equipment, <br />stand-by power, and landscaping is taking <br />place. Service calls are made until 10:30 P.M. <br />He confirmed that the Company committed and <br />would provide service to all residents of <br />Louisville, and would resolve the complaints. <br />Mr. Tennessen expressed his appreciation to <br />Councilman Cussen for his input and concerns. <br /> <br />Expressed his appreciation to Mr. Tennessen <br />by replying to our concerns. His major con- <br />cern was,. in the future, perhaps apartment <br />tenants could be serviced in a more timely <br />fashion. It appeared to him that the letters <br />of agreement had been sent to the apartment <br />owners/managers after the time of compliance <br />was due. He requested Mr. Tennessen sub- <br />mit a letter to Mayor and Council that showed <br />he tried to comply with the Agreement. <br />Tennessen advised Attorney Rautenstraus <br />had suggested that he write a memo relative <br />to the dates the letters and agreements were <br />sent to the various apartment complexes, and <br />if agreeable would do this in a couple of days. <br /> <br />Councilman Cussen requested Mr. Tennessen <br />speak to portable equipment. <br />Mr. Tenn4:ssen advised it was his opinion Mr. <br />Cussen was referring to the section in the <br />agreement that stated Storer would provide <br />video tape recording equipment to local citi- <br />zens, He felt the citizen would be best <br />served by a short training session, mid-summer <br />on how to use the equipment, and when delivery <br />is expected. <br />
