<br />10/20/81 <br /> <br />Page -11- <br /> <br />Councilman Meier <br /> <br />Referred to a concrete pan at South Boulder <br />Road and Centennial Drive - who is responsible <br />for replacing this. <br />Administrator Wurl advised this was the <br />City's responsibility - a wider pan needs <br />to be installed and the last estimate we <br />had to replace this was $7,000. <br /> <br />Would like the staff to prepare a report <br />on the Centennial Valley Hall relative to <br />a marketing area study as to revenue to be <br />derived since Arvada and Westminister plan <br />to build malls. <br />Administrator Wurl remarked it was his <br />opinion the reporter from the Louisville <br />Times had contacted the public relations <br />man in Arvada and of course caused some <br />concern. He advised the Arvada Mall will <br />be located at 1-70 and Wadsworth and would <br />not effect our area. <br /> <br />FLIGHT FOR LIFE DONATION <br /> <br />Hayor Caranci advised Council the personnel <br />of the Flight for Life Copter charge $300+ <br />per trip, which is possibly justified, he <br />was concerned with the way they demand their <br />payment immediately. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that the City <br />donate the price of 2 tables - $2,500 <br />for the Flight for Life. Seconded by <br />Councilman Domenico. Roll call vote: <br />Fauson Yes <br />Cummings Yes <br />Meier Yes <br />DelPizzo Yes <br />Domenico Yes <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico <br /> <br />Iquired if the Louisville Fire Protection <br />District purchased two new fire trucks? <br />No one was certain. <br /> <br />Councilman Meier <br /> <br />Remarked that several people inquired if <br />the fire signal would be replaced to insure <br />traffic control. <br />Police Chief Leesman stated there was no <br />Civil Defense money budgeted for this item. <br />
