<br />ORDINANCE #731 - STC NORTH <br />ZONING <br /> <br />CONTINUED <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #733 - STREET CUT <br />AMENDMENT 2ND READING <br /> <br />ADOPTION <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #734 - CITY CLERK'S <br />SALARY <br /> <br />ADOPTION <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson <br /> <br />10/6/81 <br /> <br />Page -4- <br /> <br />Attorney Rautenstraus advised this public <br />hearing was also opened at the last Council <br />meeting, and he requested that Council also <br />continue this public hearing until the <br />October 20, 1981 meeting. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that Ordinance <br />#731 - STC North Zoning public hearing <br />be continued until October 20, 1981. Seconded <br />by Councilman Meier. Question called for. <br />All in favor. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Attorney Rautenstraus read the ordinance <br />on second reading by title only, and <br />certified proper publication. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that <br />#733 - Street Cut Amendment be <br />Seconded by Councilman Brown. <br />Domenico Yes <br />Meier Yes <br />DelPizzo Yes <br />Fauson Yes <br />Cummings Yes <br />Brow~ Yes <br />Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Ordinance <br />adopted. <br />Roll call: <br /> <br />Attorney Rautenstraus read the ordinance <br />on second reading by title only and certi- <br />fied proper publication. <br /> <br />Councilman Brown moved that Ordinance 11=734 <br />City Clerk's Salary be adopted. Seconded <br />by Councilman Meier. <br /> <br />Remarked the City Clerk I s salary \vas to be <br />a cost-saving -and economy move, but the <br />City Clerk's budget had increased con- <br />siderably - he asked why the increase. <br />Administrator Wurl advised that during <br />the budget study session one of the salaries <br />from Legislative Comrnittee's was transferred <br />into the City Clerk's budget and a word <br />processor and transcriber were added. <br />Councilman Fauson also inquired why this <br />ordinance was not submitted sooner to <br />avoid the emergency clause. <br />Administrator Wurl stated there had been <br />a delay initiating the ordinance, but in <br />all fairness it should be passed before <br />the election so that others running for <br />the City Clerk position would be aware <br />
