ORDINANCE #731 - STC NORTH ZONING CONTINUED ORDINANCE #733 - STREET CUT AMENDMENT 2ND READING ADOPTION ORDINANCE #734 - CITY CLERK'S SALARY ADOPTION Councilman Fauson 10/6/81 Page -4- Attorney Rautenstraus advised this public hearing was also opened at the last Council meeting, and he requested that Council also continue this public hearing until the October 20, 1981 meeting. Councilman DelPizzo moved that Ordinance #731 - STC North Zoning public hearing be continued until October 20, 1981. Seconded by Councilman Meier. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried 6-0. Attorney Rautenstraus read the ordinance on second reading by title only, and certified proper publication. Councilman DelPizzo moved that #733 - Street Cut Amendment be Seconded by Councilman Brown. Domenico Yes Meier Yes DelPizzo Yes Fauson Yes Cummings Yes Brow~ Yes Motion carried 6-0. Ordinance adopted. Roll call: Attorney Rautenstraus read the ordinance on second reading by title only and certi- fied proper publication. Councilman Brown moved that Ordinance 11=734 City Clerk's Salary be adopted. Seconded by Councilman Meier. Remarked the City Clerk I s salary \vas to be a cost-saving -and economy move, but the City Clerk's budget had increased con- siderably - he asked why the increase. Administrator Wurl advised that during the budget study session one of the salaries from Legislative Comrnittee's was transferred into the City Clerk's budget and a word processor and transcriber were added. Councilman Fauson also inquired why this ordinance was not submitted sooner to avoid the emergency clause. Administrator Wurl stated there had been a delay initiating the ordinance, but in all fairness it should be passed before the election so that others running for the City Clerk position would be aware
