City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />February 22, 2022 <br />Page 4of5 <br />New Initiatives <br />Ramos noted the goal is to have no more than 3-5 priorities from this section to try to <br />make sure there are not more than can be completed this year. <br />Members discussed the items to better understand them and adjusted some language. <br />Items for consideration for removal <br />Members agreed all of these items are important but need to be paused and will be <br />considered for 2023 work plan. However, if time allows these items will be addressed. <br />PRIORITIZATION <br />High Priority Items <br />Mayor Stolzmann, Councilmember Leh and Councilmember Brown agreed that the <br />compensation study should be a high priority. <br />Councilmember Brown stated the affordable housing zoning should be a priority. <br />Councilmember Dickinson supported prioritizing greenhouse gas reduction, Downtown <br />Lighting Acquisition, and the Comp Plan update should be priorities. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Maloney would prioritize Hwy 42, budget planning, the sales tax <br />ordinance changes, comp plan update, the solid waste contract and pay equity. <br />Councilmember Fahey would prioritize pay equity, the solid waste contract, the comp plan <br />update, budget process, sales tax updates and EDI. <br />Councilmember Most would prioritize EDI, sales tax updates, the budget process, the <br />comp plan update, climate change, and housing. <br />Mayor Stolzmann stated housing is her priority. <br />Councilmember Leh would prioritize the budget process, sales tax updates, the Old Town <br />overlay along with housing, pay equity, and parks and street scape maintenance. <br />Councilmember Most changed her priorities to parks and open space maintenance, pay <br />equity, and housing zoning. <br />Mayor Pro Tern Maloney changed his priorities to the comp plan update and housing. <br />Councilmember Brown supported prioritizing housing and pay equity. <br />
