<br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2022 BUDGET BY AMENDING
<br />APPROPRIATIONS IN THE GENERAL FUND, OPEN SPACE & PARKS
<br />FUND, CONSERVATION TRUST - LOTTERY FUND, CEMETERY FUND,
<br />HISTORIC PRESERVATION FUND, RECREATION FUND, CAPITAL
<br />PROJECTS FUND, WATER UTILITY FUND, WASTEWATER UTILITY FUND,
<br />STORM WATER UTILITY FUND, SOLID WASTE & RECYCLING FUND, GOLF
<br />COURSE FUND, AND FLEET MANAGEMENT FUND FOR CARRY FORWARD
<br />OF APPROPRIATIONS AND ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS WITHIN SUCH
<br />FUNDS AND ADJUSTING BUDGETED REVENUE IN THE GENERAL FUND,
<br />OPEN SPACE & PARKS FUND, HISTORIC PRESERVATION FUND,
<br />RECREATION FUND, AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT FUND, CAPITAL
<br />PROJECTS FUND, WATER UTILITY FUND, WASTEWATER UTILITY FUND,
<br />GOLF COURSE FUND, AND FLEET MANAGEMENT FUND
<br />WHEREAS, the need exists to amend the 2022 budget by amending
<br />appropriations in the General Fund, Open Space & Parks Fund, Conservation
<br />Trust — Lottery Fund, Cemetery Fund, Historic Preservation Fund, Recreation
<br />Fund, Capital Projects Fund, Water Utility Fund, Wastewater Utility Fund, Storm
<br />Water Utility Fund, Solid Waste & Recycling Fund, Golf Course Fund, and Fleet
<br />Management Fund and adjusting the budget revenue in the General Fund, Open
<br />Space & Parks Fund, Historic Preservation Fund, Recreation Fund, American
<br />Rescue Plan Act Fund, Capital Projects Fund, Water Utility Fund, Wastewater
<br />Utility Fund, Golf Course Fund, and Fleet Management Fund; and
<br />WHEREAS, the need to amend the 2022 budget arises:
<br />1. To carryforward unused appropriations from 2021 to 2022 for projects
<br />that Council approved for 2021 but, for various reasons, staff needed to
<br />extend work on the projects or purchases into 2022;
<br />2. To adopt other operating and capital adjustments to the 2022
<br />expenditure budget for items that staff did not anticipate, or were not
<br />measureable, at the time Council adopted the original 2022 budget;
<br />3. To adopt other operating adjustments to the 2022 expenditure budget
<br />related to the ongoing Marshall Fire recovery costs;
<br />4. To adopt other operating adjustments to the 2022 expenditure budget
<br />related to increases in the City's contribution percentage for employees'
<br />401(a) accounts;
