<br />_....:.GULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />JUNE 16, 1981 <br /> <br />Mayor Caranci called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the following <br />Council members present: Fauson, Cummings, DelPizzo, Brown, and Domenico. <br />Absent: Meier. Also present were City Administrator Wurl, City Attorney <br />Joss, City Treasurer Hesson, Director of Community Development Rupp, Police <br />Chief Leesman, Director of Community Services Hioco, Chief Accountant Caranci, <br />and Acting City Clerk Mudrock. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Mayor Caranci and Council approved the <br />minutes of the regular meeting of June 2, <br />1981 as presented. <br /> <br />ITEMS ENCLOSED <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved that the items en- <br />closed be accepted and brought up under <br />the proper head of business. Seconded by <br />Councilman Domenico. Question called for. <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />AMERICAN LEGION SPECIAL EVENTS <br />LIQUOR LICENSE - PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Mayor Caranci opened the public hearing <br />and inquired of Attorney Joss if the <br />application was in order. Attorney Joss <br />advised that it was and that the American <br />Legion Special Events application was for <br />two separate dates for a full liquor license <br />for July 17, 1981 from 6:00 P.11. until 2:00 Al'1. <br />and August 14, 1981 for the same time; also <br />that proper posting had been made at 1340 <br />Main St. <br /> <br />APPROVAL <br /> <br />Mayor Caranci asked if there was anyone in <br />the audience supporting the application. <br />None. Anyone opposing the application. None. <br />No remarks from Council. <br />He then closed the public hearing. <br />Councilman Cummings moved that the special <br />events liquor license for the American Legion <br />be approved as presented. Seconded by Coun- <br />cilman Fauson. Question called for. All <br />in favor. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />NEW PATROLMEN <br /> <br />Police Chief Leesman introduced four new <br />patrolmen to Mayor, Council and city staff. <br />Robert Olin <br />Dan Workman <br />Walt Atkinson <br />Dan Johnson <br />Mayor and council members welcomed them. <br />
