r<EGULAR MEETING LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL JUNE 2, 1981 Mayor Caranci called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the following Council members present: Fauson, Cummings, Brown, Meier and Domenico. Absent: Councilman DelPizzo. Also present were City Administrator Wurl, City Attorney Joss, City Treasurer Hesson, Director of Community Development Rupp, Police Chief Leesman, Director of Comnlunity Services Hioco, City Engineer Blanchard, Chief Accountant Caranci, and Acting City Clerk Mudrock. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES ITEHS ENCLOSED COUNCIL ITEMS BOULDER VALLEY POW WOW SPECIAL EVENTS LIQUOR LICENSE APPROVAL AUDIENCE COMMENTS CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT SPECIAL EVENTS LIQUOR LICENSE APPLICATION Al\1ERICAN LEGION ~UBLIC HEARING SET Mayor Caranci and Council approved the minutes of the regular meeting of May 19, 1981 as presented. Councilman Fauson moved that the items en- closed be accepted and brought up under the proper head of business. Seconded by Council- man CUl1U1lings. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried. Attorney Joss advised Council the application for the Special Events Liquor License was for four days for a 3.2% Beer License at 1555 East South Boulder Road July 23, 1981 commencing from 11:00 A.H. till Hidnight and for the same times on July 24, 25, and 26, 1981. He stated the application was in order and the proper posting had been done. Mayor Caranci opened the public hearing and asked if there was anyone in the audience opposed to the application. None. Anyone in favor of the application. None. He then closed the public hearing. Councilman Fauson moved that the Special Events 3.2% Beer Liquor License for the Boulder Valley POW WOW be approved as sub- mitted. Seconded by Councilman Meier. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried 5-0. None Attorney Joss advised Council the application was for a special events full liquor license for the American Legion to be held at 1340 Main St. for July 17, 1981 from 6:00 P.l'1. until July 18, 1981 2:00 A.H. and August 14, 1981 from 6:00 P.m. to August 15, 1981 2:00 A.M. He suggested the public hearing be set for June 16, 1981. Councilman Domenico moved that the application for the special events liquor license be accepted and public hearing be set for June 16, 1981.
