Heads Requested to <br />1 Attend Council Heetings <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo <br />Regal Square <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />1/6/81 <br /> <br />Page - 6 - <br /> <br />Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico moved that the City <br />Administrator's report be accepted and <br />placed on file. Seconded by Councilman <br />Meier. Question called for. All in <br />favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Complimented City Administrator Wurl <br />and staff for their fine work in 1980, <br />and hoped that 1981 will be even more <br />fruitful. He also presented Adminis- <br />trator Wurl with a plaque. <br /> <br />Inquired if School Zone signs could be <br />placed near the Catholic School - 900 <br />block of Grant St. <br /> <br />A reminder - the dangerous intersection <br />sign 1100 block of Grant St. is still <br />missing. Administrator Wurl to check. <br /> <br />Inquired if Dept. Heads are required <br />to be at the Council Meetings. <br />Administrator Wurl stated this is not <br />a requirement but he encourages them <br />to do so. <br />Councilman Cummings suggested he would <br />like to see Fred McNulty, Director of <br />Public Works attend the meetings. <br /> <br />Inquired of Director Rupp regarding <br />the foundation that has been excavated <br />at Regal Square, it was his opinion <br />on the exterior walls, the foundation <br />was settling causing cracks in the brick- <br />wall to go upward. <br />Director Rupp advised that they would <br />receive a written report from Centen- <br />nial Engineering, and this will be put <br />out for bids to see how much it would <br />cost to repair the building. He also <br />advised Council that when this cost is <br />obtained a meeting will be held with <br />FHA and they will give us a recommen- <br />dation as to what can be done. <br />After discussion Councilman DelPizzo <br />requested that each council member in- <br />spect the exterior walls of apartments <br />29C and 30C of the Regal Square com- <br />plex, and he would like a report by <br />this summer of what will be done to <br />
