<br />COUNCIL REMARKS <br />Counciman Cummings <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #709 - MORMAN CHURCH <br />ANNEXATION, 1ST READING <br /> <br />PUBLICATION <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #710 - MORMAN CHURCH <br />ZONING - FIRST READING <br /> <br />PUBLICATION <br /> <br />12/16/80 <br /> <br />Page - 5 - <br /> <br />proposed calendar be approved, and that <br />the polling places be the Middle School - <br />Ward 1, Community Building - Ward 2, <br />and the City Hall - Ward 3. Seconded by <br />Councilman Meier. Question called for. <br />All in favor. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss informed Council the Special <br />Election is open only to registered <br />voters and residents of the City. Those <br />who did not vote in the General Election <br />on November 4, 1980 will have to re-register <br />either with the City Clerk or County Clerk. <br />This may be done during regular business <br />hours 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. and if necessary <br />after hours for registration at the City <br />Hall. January 30, 1981 is the last day <br />for a person to register. <br /> <br />Inquired if the actual paper work is <br />handled by the City Clerk. Attorney Joss <br />advised that the City Clerk has the author- <br />ity to register people, but the actual <br />registration rolls are controlled and <br />held by thE~ County Clerk's office. <br /> <br />All members of Council had a copy of the <br />ordinance before them for their review <br />and files. Attorney Joss read the ordin- <br />ance by title only and asked Council to <br />set a date for a public hearing - sug- <br />gested date, January 20, 1981. <br />Councilman Meier moved that Ordinance <br />1/=709 -. Morman Church Annexation be put <br />out for publication and a public hearing <br />be set for January 20, 1981. Seconded <br />by Councilman Domenico. Question called <br />for. All in favor. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />All members of Council had before them <br />a copy of the ordinance for their review <br />and files. Attorney Joss read the ordin- <br />ance by title only and asked Council to <br />set a date for a public hearing - suggested <br />date January 20, 1981. <br />Councilman Domenico moved that Ordinance <br />#710 -- Horman Church Zoning be sent out <br />for publication and a public hearing be <br />set for January 20, 1981. Seconded by <br />Councilman Cummings. <br />
