<br />Minutes - page 4 <br />September 2, 1980 <br /> <br />CITY ATOTRNEY REPORT <br />ORDINANCE NO. 693 <br />CODE OF ETHICS <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />CONTINUATION <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reported that this was <br />a continuation of the public hearing <br />on the ordinance. He read the ord- <br />inance #693 by title only. <br />Mayor Pro-tern Caranci reopened the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Peter Gauss, 1125 Main St. asked for <br />Council's adoption of the ordinance. <br /> <br />There were no other comments for or <br />against the ordinance. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo vocied his ob- <br />jections to the ordinance, feeling <br />it was presented to cause trouble and <br />disruption in the Council, and felt <br />that all matters presented in the ord- <br />inance were covered under state sta- <br />tutes. <br /> <br />With no other comments, Mayor Pro-tern <br />closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved that Ordinance <br />No. 693 be adopted. Seconded by Coun- <br />cilman Meier. <br /> <br />Councilman Meier stated that after <br />the revisions were finalized, the <br />ordinance was acceptable to him and <br />recommended adoption. <br /> <br />After comments roll call was taken. <br /> <br />AYES: Carnival, Meier, Fauson <br />NOES: DelPizzo, Domenico, Caranci. <br />Motion defeated by tie vote 3-3. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 695 <br />REZONING PARCEL OF LAND <br />SECOND READING <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Attorney Joss read the ordinance on <br />second reading by title only stating <br />that it was properly published on <br />August 13, and the public hearing notice <br />published on August 13, and August 20, <br />1980. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro-tern Caranci opened the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Chuck Bellock, representing the appli- <br />cants, gave a presentation of the pro- <br />posed plans for the development. <br /> <br />Mr. Rupp reported that the proposed <br />plans fit in with the character of the <br />area, noting the plans include a med- <br />ical center and professional office <br />building. <br />
