<br />Minutes - page 2 <br />April 1, 1980 <br /> <br />AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br />CABLE T.V. <br /> <br />Rick Luce, 187 Harper St. stated that he <br />was concerned about the possibility of <br />Jones Intercable getting ahead of the <br />other interested companies in this area, <br />by not revoking the Mountain States <br />Video franchise, since they have the <br />chance to gain Mountain States Video's <br />pole contract. <br />He asked that Council keep this in mind. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY REPORT <br />ORDINANCE NO. 671 <br />MORRISON ANNEXATION <br />CONTINUED <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reported that this ordinance <br />was presented on second reading in <br />March and the public hearing was held. <br />Mr. Joss noted that it was placed back <br />on the agenda to see if Council wanted <br />to take further action. <br /> <br />Staff noted that the applicant was not <br />notified that it would be up at this <br />meeting. <br />Council voiced their concerns about <br />water facilities, but no sewer facilities, <br />and also discussed clustered housing as <br />opposed to the grid pattern. <br />After comments council recommended that <br />the applicant be notified as to the <br />Councils feelings. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss read the Ordinance on se- <br />cond reading by title only. <br />Councilman Carnival moved that Ordinance <br />No. 671 be tabled until the staff has <br />time to review it with the applicant, <br />Mr. Morrison. Seconded by Councilman <br />Domenico. Roll call. <br />Ayes: Domenico, Carnival, Fauson, DelPizzo, <br />Meier. <br />Noes: Caranci. <br />Motion carried 5 - 1. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 672 <br />MORRISON ZONING <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13 <br />DEFERRED COMPENSATION <br />METROPOLITAN LIFE <br /> <br />Attorney Joss removed this from the <br />agenda until a later date. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss stated that staff has <br />been working on getting a deferred com- <br />pensation plan for the City employees <br />and have come up with two different ones. <br />One with Metropolitan Life and the other <br />with ICMA. He noted that passing the <br />resolutions would authorize the Mayor <br />to sign the proposed plans and they would <br />begin in June. <br />Council stated that they would like to <br />see the proposed plans before authorizing <br />
