POT HOLES <br /> <br />POLICE CHIEF HIRING <br /> <br />PARKING SIGNS <br /> <br />STC STOP SIGN <br /> <br />SPEEDING <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF BILLS <br /> <br />Minutes - page 5 <br />April 1, 1980 <br /> <br />Councilman Meier recommended that every- <br />one give Mr. Toevs a call and complain <br />about the poor condition of So. Boulder <br />Rd. <br /> <br />Councilman Meier stated that he received <br />a call from one applicant for the chief's <br />job who was not interviewed. <br />Mr. Wurl responded that he conducted <br />six interviews and he would be glad to <br />speak with the person concerned. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that a No <br />Parking Sign has been knocked down <br />near Louis Guilmont's home and it <br />needed to be put back up. <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico stated that cars <br />coming out of STC are not stopping for <br />the stop sign. <br />Chief Leesman stated that it is a private <br />drive and the sign was installed by <br />STC, so the City has no jurisdiction to <br />enforce it. <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico stated that on the <br />road out to Varra's property there have <br />been alot of speeders. <br /> <br />City Treasurer Hesson read the bills <br />totalling $80,201.82. <br />Councilman Carnival asked if the City <br />could not was their own windows. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the City is on a <br />part time janitorial service and that <br />is why we had him do the windows. <br /> <br />Councilman Carnival asked why there were <br />two different charges for sewer cleaning. <br />Mr. Wurl reported that one party had his <br />cleaned twice, do to back up. <br />Councilman Fauson asked about the legal <br />fees, Musik, Williamson, etc. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that Mr. Williamson supplies <br />a very thorough bill and that he did not <br />see any problems with charges, as many <br />negotiations are going on for several <br />months. <br />After comments, Councilman Domenico moved <br />that bills be approved and checks issued <br />for the same.
