TRAFFIC STUDY CONTINUED VEHICLES USE REPORT APPROVAL CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS SAFETY MEETING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT Minutes - page 4 April 1, 1980 funds are available to install a traffic light. Council discussed reducing the speed limit and pedestrian crossings. After disucssion Councilman Caranci moved that Council approve staffs re- commendation in regards to traffic signals on South Boulder Rd. Seconded by Councilman Carnival. It was noted that this would mean a light at Centennial. After discussion motion carried 4 - 2. Councilmen DelPizzo and Domenico voting no. Mr. Wurl reported that he requested the names of persons bringing home vehicles from each department. Councilman Fauson stated that he knew of two other vehicles going home that were not listed. Mr. Wurl reported that Kit Mathis was taking one home temporarily, but was no longer doing so, and Mr. Stahl re- ported that the other vehicle being taken home from parks was no longer being taken home. Mr. Wurl noted that all persons taking vehicles home are on call. Councilman Carnival asked how the driving of the vechiles was monitored for City use only. Mr. Wurl stated that the staff is aware that they are to be used for City business only and if they are used for other things, disciplinary action is taken. Councilman Caranci moved thaL.:the ~City Administrators report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Council- man Meier. Motion carried. 6 - O. Councilman Meier commented on the supplies listed for the engineering department and recommended that they be bought. Mr. Wurl stated that they will be purchased when the purchase order is completed.
