<br />TRAFFIC STUDY <br />CONTINUED <br /> <br />VEHICLES USE REPORT <br /> <br />APPROVAL CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />REPORT <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />SAFETY MEETING <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />Minutes - page 4 <br />April 1, 1980 <br /> <br />funds are available to install a traffic <br />light. <br />Council discussed reducing the speed <br />limit and pedestrian crossings. <br />After disucssion Councilman Caranci <br />moved that Council approve staffs re- <br />commendation in regards to traffic <br />signals on South Boulder Rd. Seconded <br />by Councilman Carnival. It was noted <br />that this would mean a light at Centennial. <br /> <br />After discussion motion carried 4 - 2. <br />Councilmen DelPizzo and Domenico voting <br />no. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl reported that he requested the <br />names of persons bringing home vehicles <br />from each department. <br />Councilman Fauson stated that he knew <br />of two other vehicles going home that <br />were not listed. <br />Mr. Wurl reported that Kit Mathis was <br />taking one home temporarily, but was <br />no longer doing so, and Mr. Stahl re- <br />ported that the other vehicle being <br />taken home from parks was no longer <br />being taken home. <br />Mr. Wurl noted that all persons taking <br />vehicles home are on call. <br />Councilman Carnival asked how the driving <br />of the vechiles was monitored for City <br />use only. Mr. Wurl stated that the <br />staff is aware that they are to be used <br />for City business only and if they are <br />used for other things, disciplinary action <br />is taken. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci moved thaL.:the ~City <br />Administrators report be accepted and <br />placed on file. Seconded by Council- <br />man Meier. Motion carried. 6 - O. <br /> <br />Councilman Meier commented on the supplies <br />listed for the engineering department and <br />recommended that they be bought. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that they will be purchased <br />when the purchase order is completed. <br />
